Performance

The new 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 has plenty of new features that push it to the front of the pack and deliver better freeway merging acceleration than Ford or Chevy.

• Multi-Displacement System (MDS) seamlessly deactivates half of the engine's cylinders in fuel saver mode when less power is needed.
• New variable cam timing (VVT) delivers increased torque and efficiency.
• Stronger hemispherical cylinder heads produce more power, while a new short runner valve active intake manifold increases fuel efficiency.

Available 4.7-liter SOHC V8 two-valve engine is proven powerful and durable.

• Single overhead camshafts provide excellent performance.
• Valve train and combustion chamber allow low-speed torque, smooth idle and reduced engine noise.

The 3.7-liter V6 engine produces competitive V8 power and torque.

• Single overhead camshafts deliver outstanding performance while maintaining improved fuel economy.

Safety & Security

For optimum control, Ram has the Electronic Stability Program (ESP). ESP automatically analyzes steering wheel angle, turning rate, lateral acceleration and wheel speed to determine appropriate brake and throttle actions. ESP includes Hill Start Assist, which applies the brakes momentarily to prevent roll back on hills, and Trailer Sway Control, which helps prevent fishtailing. Other accident avoidance features: Standard antilock brakes, ParkSense® rear park assist, and ParkView® rear back up camera.
